Personio has Reached €103.5M Series D funding and 1.4 Billion Valuation

Personio, a Munich based company that digitises and simplifies time-consuming HR processes and improves workflow, has reached €103.5 million Series D funding. This brings the total investment to over €206 million – giving the company a valuation at around €1.4 billion.

The new funding will accelerate further the scaleup’s international expansion and to invest in product development of its “all-in-one” software, with the aim of becoming Europe’s leading HR platform.

The company said it doubled revenues in 2020, with growth accelerated by the pandemic’s shift to digital tools and remote workforce.

“While the past year has proven difficult for many industries and businesses, it has at the same time accelerated the digitisation of small and mid-sized businesses,” said Hanno Renner, co-founder and CEO of Personio.es.

Founded in 2015, Personio offers an all-in-one HR software for small and medium-sized companies with 10 to 2,000 employees.
