My client, one of Europe’s largest online retailers, is looking to add a Senior Manager - PMO, to their Technology and Data function. Having recently been acquired by a venture capital group, this is an incredibly exciting time to join the business as they embark on unprecedent investment in several flagship projects. This is a superb opportunity for someone to have genuine, lasting impact o the future of this business.

The Role

As a Senior Manager of PMO and Project Management you will oversee all day-to-day operations of a range of projects and teams within the business. You will define, manage, and support compliance with all policies, standards, and practices associated with project delivery, helping to ensure that Project Management teams are meeting their requirements. You will also be responsible for resource allocation, project quality, and the ongoing development of service standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and optimisation of project portfolios against overall business objectives. 
  • Oversee resource management to ensure budgetary efficiency and effective skill allocation across the project portfolio
  • Manage the IT Roadmap and liaise with other stakeholder groups to ensure quick resolutions to any problems
  • Identify, implement, and manage key PMO software tools
  • Provide detailed reporting on all projects
  • Manage and report on dependencies between projects, ensuring that effective contingencies are in place
  • Ensure that all project planning is detailed, effective, and efficient
  • Manage the team of 8 project managers, acting as an escalation point, mentor, and coach
  • Ensure all governance and standards are met
  • Maintain detailed and effective documentation management processes

About You

  • Project/Portfolio management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, PPM
  • 5-years’ experience leading large scale IT transformation programs (€15m +)
  • Sued to working with a range of methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
  • Self-motivated, driven, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Outstanding collaboration skills and able to positively influence those around you to ensure a positive outcome

  • Apply their expertise to provide training, documentation, templates, processes, and best practice to fill those gaps and apply metrics to assess success
  • Deliver a complete end-to-end CS framework, including detailed processes, that can be applied to all products new and existing, to drive scale and best practice

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of leading Customer Success functions

Principal Integration Engineer required to join one of Europe’s largest online retailers, we are looking for someone to lead an enterprise integration team, providing strategic and tactical direction to the team while liaising with other key stakeholders throughout the business. The business is currently undergoing a major transformation program as they transition to a single data repository throughout the entire business. This is an incredible opportunity to join a market-leading business and have a real impact on this flag-ship transformation program.

 

As a Principal Integration Engineer, you will be recognised as a Subject Matter Expert for integration and will drive the success of the team around you by mentoring and coaching. Maintaining a positive working environment including highly engaged, high-performing engineers with a tech-agnostic approach for cloud integration.

 

Some of what you will be doing:

 

  • Lead the design and specifications for core integration patterns
  • Articulate key design principles for integration
  • Support Enterprise Architects with standards, and roadmap, including SOA principles and governance
  • Optimize delivered IT solutions & Improve information management with innovative technology capabilities

  • Coaching and mentoring Engineering
